Kirloskar Cast Iron Swing Check Type Reflux Valves (Non-Return Valves / NRV) are self-acting safety valves designed to permit fluid flow in only one direction while instantly preventing pipeline backflow. Manufactured by Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), these valves protect pump machinery, water mains, and industrial infrastructure from severe fluid reversal damage or hydraulic shock.
They feature a sturdy, low-friction single-door or multi-door swing mechanism and are heavily specified for municipal water works, irrigation channels, and industrial cooling networks.

- Body, Cover & Disc: Grade FG 260 Cast Iron conforming to IS 210.
- Hinge Pin & Fasteners: Corrosion-proof Stainless Steel SS410.
- Body Seating Ring: High-grade Gunmetal or Bronze.
- Disc Facing / Ring: Premium Natural Rubber or Bronze for highly responsive leak-tight sealing.
- End Connections: Double-flanged flat face drilled to match IS 1538 Table IV & VI dimensions.
