Audco Ball Valves (frequently integrated with the Worcester Controls line under Flowserve) are elite process-industry components known for robust quarter-turn insulation, low pressure drops, and easy online maintenance. They are designed with unique floating or trunnion-mounted geometries that ensure a long service life in high-pressure and critical process conditions.

• Three-Piece Dynamic Build (Series 44): Removing three connector bolts while leaving the fourth as a pivot point allows the center body section to swing clean out of the piping layout. This enables immediate inline maintenance, seal swaps, or inspections with minimal downtime.
• Cavity Pressure Self-Relief: Features a built-in seat relief configuration. If thermal expansion generates excessive pressure trapped inside the body cavity, the flexible seat lip shifts slightly away from the ball to automatically bleed the pressure back into the line.
• Anti-Static & Blowout-Proof Stem: The bottom-entry stem is inherently blowout-proof under heavy pressure. An internal grounding mechanism discharges static electricity buildup between the valve body, stem, and ball.
• High-Integrity Stem Packing: Live-loaded packing configurations utilizing Belleville springs automatically adjust for temperature fluctuations and wear, drastically mitigating volatile fugitive emissions.

• AF44 / F44 Fire-Safe Variant: Engineered with secondary metallic backing rings. If intense plant fire burns away the soft primary PTFE seats, the internal line pressure shifts the floating ball downstream against this sharp metal lip, securing a secondary leak-tight shutoff to contain volatile materials.
• Severe Corrosive Lined Designs: For chemically aggressive processes (e.g., strong acids), Audco offers specialized variants cleanly lined with thick, dovetail-anchored PFA or FEP polymers. These completely isolate all structural metal parts from the process stream.
• Trunnion-Mounted Pipeline Valves: For heavy transmission pipelines or line sizes above 8 inches, trunnion-supported configurations anchor the ball tightly on top and bottom bearings. This reduces operation torque and shifts seat load forces onto the body frame.
